Here Comes Santa Claus

Once again I apologize for the gap in posts. I have been extremely busy with Mommy running around to meet alot of our friends for lunch and Daddy has been extremely busy at work the last few weeks trying to get things done so he can take time off during the holidays. As a result, they have not had time to turn off the parental controls on the computer so I could get down to doing some blogging. What, you thought those two pinheads were writing this stuff?

As I mentioned, the last few weeks have been pretty busy. I went to lunch with mommy's very good friend Sara and my friend Liam, Mommy's boss Todd and Mommy's client, HD Supply. I also went out to visit mommy and daddy's good friends Todd and Suzanne and my friends Holly and Ty. If you have ever clicked over and read the blog that I follow, "The Chubby Chronicles", you will remember Holly as the soon to be 3yr old who promised to get me beer and introduce me to college girls when I get older. I have that post printed out for future use. Ty is her brand new, cute as can be, baby brother.

I also made it out to see Santa Claus. I have to be honest, I don't know a heck of a lot about this whole Santa Claus deal but it seems to me he has a pretty good gig going. Best I can tell he sits up at the North Pole ordering around elves to build toys and has his "Santa helpers" go to malls all throughout the country to let kids sit on their laps and tell them what they want for Christmas. The "Santa helpers" then report back to the big guy. To cap it all off, the mommy's and daddy's get to pay $20-$25 for a picture of their kids screaming and crying on the "Santa helpers" lap. I am not sure what the margin is on the $20-$25 that makes it up to the North Pole but I know there are alot of malls in america and even more kids, I'll leave the math to you since I can't really count yet.

According to Mommy and Daddy we are all set for Christmas and now are just waiting for the day to arrive. I am very excited for my first Christmas and I am also very excited because Grandma Smith is coming to visit me for a week shortly after the New Year.

I hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday season and gets everything that they asked Santa for!


Here I am getting ready for the Syracuse Basketball game against Florida. For those of you who have not noticed, Syracuse is currently ranked #5 in the nation and is 11-0. Daddy is happy because they have a real shot to win a national championship.

Hello Syracuse!

Hi everyone! I apologize for not writing for a long time. We have been very busy! After a 16 hour car ride to Syracuse, we arrived to Syracuse with Grandpa Smith having shot a deer on opening day while falling out of his tree stand and breaking bones in his leg! Daddy spent the rest of the day at the hospital with Grandpa while I caught up with Grandma. Daddy was very sad about Grandpa, but we all got to take a picture with the deer! Mommy helped Daddy take the deer to the butcher and also picked it up with Grandpa - she said it was gross. I think it's cool! I met alot of great people while we were in the 'Cuse, all of my uncles, my great grandpa, great grandma and lots of other just great people!

Here are some pictures from my baptism. The water was pretty cold and I only cried once. The highlight of the day was the cake at lunch! I was baptized at the church where Daddy was baptized and wore his outfit! I want to thank everyone for coming out and supporting me on my special day. It was very nice to have all my family and friends around.

Well, after coming off a very exciting weekend with Aunt Julie visiting, I played the past week pretty low-key. Mommy did some craft project, Daddy helped with the craft project (unwillingly), the Bears lost (again), we got chased by a big mean dog on our walk, Mommy bet Daddy Pacquiao would beat Cotto and then feel asleep for the entire fight even with company over, and I have officially outgrown my newborn diapers! Here are a few pictures of me because, well, I'm cute!

Happy Monday...

Just a few pictures of the past few days and my first time meeting Aunt Julie! We had a very fun weekend going to the outlet mall and the fabric store. I also came down with my first cold, which was not very fun and caused me to cry alot. I also missed the first birthday party I was invited to. There was a bouncy house set up which I missed, but I guess that's ok because I wouldn't have been allowed in the bouncy house anyways. That said, Daddy was taking the news of missing the bouncy house much harder than I would have thought...apparently he was looking forward to blowing out his ACL in it.


Aunt Julie bought me a Forte jersey to watch the Bears games with Daddy. I think Daddy and I look pretty good together. I just wish the Bears would start winning..losing sucks and is perhaps the reason I appear semi-cross eyed in the next picture.

We Are The Champions!!

I want to apologize in advance for the gap in my posting. As I am sure you are all aware, the Yankees recently captured their 27th World Championship. In support of their efforts I had Mommy dress me up in my Yankee gear for Game 6. The manner in which we decided on this outfit was that she would put on an outfit and if it was not what I liked I would pee or poop through it. After 3 outfit changes she finally got the hint and went with the Yankee shirt you see me pictured in above. While it appears I am unhappy in this picture, it is actually tears of joy that you are witnessing. I waited six long weeks for this championship..so all you Cubs fans sitting on over 100 since your last win, believe me, I know how you feel.

This Yankee season was a grueling season of 162 games and then 15 more postseason games. This season had it all folks, tension, moments of fear and doubt, walk offs and even some rare moments of joy. And that was just the impact the season had on Mommy and Daddy's marriage...so you can imagine how much excitement the actual baseball brought to our house!! Anyway, congratulations to the greatest franchise in professional sports...what a great season.....Daddy is still talking about it. In fact, he and his good friend Uncle Todd have already started laying the groundwork for the offseason moves the Yankees should make. Between you and I, lets be thankfull that the Yankees employ people much smarter than those two knuckleheads or else I would have zero chance of seeing championship number 28 in my lifetime.

Happy Halloween everyone! I hope everyone had a great night and, most importantly, got lots of candy! I had a very busy day. Mommy and Daddy took me to my first neighborhood parade (which I wouldn't really call walking around the clubhouse a parade because it was raining, but oh well). I was the youngest participant at the parade and by FAR the cutest. :)

After the parade, it was time to change my outfit for trick or treating! This year I'm 'daddy's pumpkin,' and I'll be sure to come up with an awesome costume for next year. (I heard daddy say I was going to be a football player.)

Even though it was lightly raining and cold, Mommy insisted I go meet the neighbors and go trick or treating for the first time. You can see from the pictures below I didn't last too long! I mean, I'm only 5 weeks old so I think 4 houses was enough for me!

I'm one month old!

Hi everyone! I have several photos that I wanted to share. We have had quite the busy few 2 weeks! After Uncle Al and Aunt Kristi left, we had more visitors! Grandma Edmunds and Grandpa Edmunds stopped by on their way to Florida, which was followed by Grandma Smith, Aunt Chelsey and Great Aunt Maria! I have had the best time ever meeting all of my family! I also had several firsts including my first trip to the mall, my first trip to Uncle Shucks Pumpkin Farm, my first trip to the outlet mall, and my first trip to church! Daddy was very proud of me because I behaved the entire time!

Here I am supporting the Yankees! They are going to the world series and I'm very excited. I love to watch them with my Daddy!

This was my outfit for my inaugural visit to Uncle Shucks Pumpkin Farm! (Well, I actually have been twice in that same day, but that's a whole story for another day!) It was alittle cool, so I won't be sporting this outfit in subsequent pictures, but I had a nice time.

We bought a pumpkin (duh) and Daddy enjoyed a funnel cake. The highlight of the visit was watching Aunt Maria use the porta-potty and meeting the legendary Uncle Shucks! Check me out riding the tractor!
